Our Story
CarShell started with a simple, frustrating problem: not enough garage space for the car that mattered most.
Like a lot of Australians, our founders didn't have a garage. One car sat in the driveway, exposed to sun, rain, dust and bird droppings, while the garage itself was full of tools, bikes, storage boxes and everything else life accumulates. Building a carport meant council paperwork, tradies and thousands of dollars. A cheap car cover flapped in the wind, scratched the paint, and needed replacing every year.
We knew there had to be a better way; something that gave a car real protection without giving up the driveway permanently, and without the cost of construction.
That's what CarShell is. A stainless steel, retractable car shelter that goes up in minutes, protects your car from Australian weather, and folds away when you don't need it. No permanent structure, no builders, no compromise.
We built CarShell for anyone whose pride and joy deserves better than a patch of driveway and an old bedsheet. Whether it's a daily driver, a weekend car, or something you've spent years getting exactly right, it deserves a proper roof over its head, even without a garage to give it one.
